Pozo del Tigre Relay Station

This Relay Station was named after the jaguar, an American tiger that inhabited the area.

Stories of the time say that the feline gave no rest to the estates and the landowners. Pozo del Tigre, one of the few constructions of the area, was the last relay station before entering the territory of Santiago del Estero. It preserves the original lintel where it reads: “AD 1771” (Anno Domini 1771).
