Macha Relay Station

Tribal Chieftain Macha, a man who inhabited these lands at the end of the 16th century gave his name to the land grant, where, in 1809, the Royal Road Relay Station was founded, which witnessed the passing of the liberating army troops and of the unitary and federal armies that disputed the territory during the civil wars.

Only the ruins of the old Relay Station remain. (The site, located in a private field, has been expropriated.)
