Los Talas Relay Station

The history of Los Talas relay station dates back to the first years of the Spanish conquest. It was located in one of Totoral farmhouses, owned by one of Córdoba city’s founder’s son, Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera.

The original relay station disappeared over time and only the foundations and part of its walls remain. The site is signposted and shelters a historic carob tree, a stop for José de San Martín on his way through Córdoba.
